Danielle, a defenseman, has over 30 years of hockey experience; including DI and Professional play. Born and raised in Anaheim to Canadian parents, Danielle began playing at the age of 5. She played locally with boys until the age of 18. Once it was developed, she also played on an all girls select team, Cal Selects, from the ages of 12-18. She was recruited by over 15 Division I schools and offered full ride scholarships to each. She chose Providence College in Providence RI and attended for the 2001-2005 seasons. She captained the team her senior year and helped lead the team to win league championships all of the four years she attended, with an inaugural appearance in the NCAA tournament – two feats that haven’t been repeated at the school since. Upon graduating she moved up to Oakville, Ontario, Canada and played in the CWHL for two years for the Oakville Ice, assistant captaining her second season. From there she moved overseas to Lugano, Switzerland and played professionally there for an additional two years before officially retiring from competitive play. In the spring of 2009 she returned home to Southern CA (where she still plays to this day) to pursue a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. She has been helping athletes reach the next level in their sport through her Mental Performance Coaching business since 2010; and she has 20+ years of coaching experience – both on and off the ice.” Contact her at 714-315-5456 to schedule a session.
